Dear Sir or Madam,

BOSTON, October 11, 2026 — Boston Made, Inc. today published a new Inclusion page on bostonmade.com, setting out six promises on belonging that apply across the Boston Made family of brands, sites and products.

The page is built around a single message, “You belong here,” and assigns each promise its own color in a full-spectrum design that runs through the page.

The six promises

  • Come as you are. Who you are, who you love, where you come from, how you worship or don’t, what you earn and how you move through the world.
  • Built for every body. Readable type, strong contrast, keyboard navigation and screen readers, and a habit of fixing what we miss.
  • Your inbox, your call. Our marketing is opt-in only, and one click is always enough to stop.
  • Room at the table. Stories from every neighborhood and every kind of Bostonian.
  • Respect, always. Hate and harassment have no place in the spaces we run.
  • Tell us when we miss. If something made you feel shut out, we want to hear it and make it right.

From the founder

“Being tolerated is not the same as being welcome,” said Nathan Strickland, founder of Boston Made. “Boston has never been just one kind of person, and a company that carries the city’s name should make room for all of it. These promises are the habits we want people to feel every time they use something we make.”

Feedback welcome

The company is inviting anyone who has felt shut out on a Boston Made site to share feedback through its support page. Strickland’s full note on the commitment, Belonging Is Part of What We Make, is available on bostonmade.com.

Boston Made Newsroom Becomes the Official News Desk for the Entire Boston Made Network

WORCESTER, Mass. — October 9, 2026 — The Boston Made Newsroom at BostonMadeInc.com today announced that it is now the official news desk for the entire Boston Made, Inc. network, publishing company announcements, market coverage and press releases for every Boston Made brand from a single newsroom — and syndicating all of it, automatically, to the free Boston Made Reader.

As of today, the Boston Made Reader indexes more than 700 stories from 20 sites across the network, with the Newsroom contributing more than 250 of them — the largest single source in the Reader. Starting today, every new release from Boston Made, Boston Made Pets, the Boston Made Foundation, BOSSTOX, Fenway Web, Pupwear and the rest of the family is published as a pinned, featured press release on its own site and mirrored in the Reader within the hour.

What changes for readers

  • One place for company news. Announcements that used to live on a dozen separate sites now have a home of record at BostonMadeInc.com.
  • Every release, everywhere. Each brand’s latest press release is pinned to the top of its own site so visitors always see the most important news first.
  • Read it all in the Reader. The Boston Made Reader pulls every story into a clean, no-login reading view, filterable by site, category and story type — including a dedicated press-release view.
  • Useful, not just newsworthy. Each release now ships with a working calculator or tool readers can use on the spot, so an announcement is also a resource.

Today’s releases across the network

Alongside this announcement, the Newsroom is publishing releases for the Boston Made Foundation and BOSSTOX, while each WordPress property in the family — including BostonMade.com, Boston Made Pets, Boston Made Brands, the Boston Made App, the Reader, Fenway Web, Keep Up With Nate and Pupwear — carries its own pinned release.

A free tool for anyone writing news

Small businesses write press releases too. The checker below scores a draft against the conventions newsrooms use every day: headline length, a clear news verb, length, quotes and links.

Press Release Readiness Checker

Writing your own announcement? Paste your headline and word count to see how it measures up to newsroom standards before you send it.

A practical checklist, not a guarantee of pickup.

How to submit news

Brands and partners in the Boston Made network can send announcements, photos and media questions to sales@bostonmade.com. Releases are reviewed for accuracy before publication; claims keep their dates, and announced, funded and completed milestones are reported as what they are.

Boston Made Foundation Opens Its National Business Directory and Community to All

WORCESTER, Mass. — October 9, 2026 — The Boston Made Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Boston Made, Inc., today invited businesses, nonprofits and neighbors to join its national business directory and community at BostonMade.org, and outlined the programs it is building next under its mission of Building a Better Boston Made.

The Foundation exists to connect businesses, amplify community voices and invest in people and places. Its community platform is live today: anyone can create a free profile, join the community feed, start or join groups and follow events. Businesses can submit a directory listing, which the Foundation’s moderation team reviews before it is published.

What is live today

  • National business directory — submit a listing at BostonMade.org; every listing is reviewed before it appears.
  • Free member profiles — sign up at bostonmade.org/signup to join the feed, groups and events.
  • Guides on community participation, volunteering and responsible giving.

What the Foundation is building next

  • Community Grants (proposed) — direct funding for local organizations and small businesses. Eligibility guidelines are in development and will be published before any application window opens.
  • Business Mentorship — pairing emerging entrepreneurs with experienced leaders. Mentor applications open soon.
  • Boston Made Summit (planned) — a proposed national gathering of business and civic leaders. Date and format will be announced.

Plan your own impact

Generosity compounds. Use the planner below to see what a modest monthly gift and a few hours of volunteering add up to over a year — then put that number to work with an organization you trust.

Giving & Volunteer Impact Planner

See what a steady habit of giving and showing up adds up to over a year — for you, your team or your company.

Planning estimate only. Tax treatment of any gift depends on the recipient and your situation — consult a tax advisor.

How to give responsibly

  1. Verify the organization. Look up a charity’s registration and financial filings before you give.
  2. Give steadily. Recurring gifts help organizations plan better than one-time spikes.
  3. Ask about matching. Many employers match gifts; it is the easiest way to double your impact.
  4. Give time, too. Skilled volunteering — bookkeeping, marketing, web help — is often worth more than cash to a small nonprofit.

Dear Sir or Madam,

BOSTON — DanielStricklandMusic.com is now live. The new home for singer, guitarist and pianist Daniel Strickland brings his original music, his official music video, his live-event booking and a place for fans to connect into one site, designed and built by Fenway Web.

Live music that fits the room

Daniel is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who plays acoustic guitar and piano and carries a deep, flexible repertoire. The site is built around what he does best: reading a room. That means warm, understated sets during dinner and bigger, crowd-facing sets when the night calls for it.

He plays restaurants, breweries, weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals and community events. Every booking includes solo live vocals with acoustic guitar and/or piano, a professional, self-contained sound setup, and set lengths shaped around the event.

Original songs, front and center

Beyond the covers and crowd favorites, Daniel writes and records his own music, and the site gives each song its own spotlight with a 30-second preview and a link to the full track on Apple Music:

  • Together Again (2025)
  • Love San Antone (2024)
  • Rest of Our Lives (2024), with its official music video on the homepage
  • Father I Draw Near, featuring Lauren Johnson (2023)

Built for fans, not just bookings

The launch goes beyond a brochure site. Fans can sign in on any song page to leave a comment on the fan wall, sign up to be notified when new show dates land, and follow Daniel on Facebook for clips and announcements. Public show dates will appear on the site first, with one tap to add a show to your calendar or get directions.

How to book Daniel

Planning a wedding, a private party, a company event or a night out at your restaurant or brewery? Visit danielstricklandmusic.com and choose Book Daniel to check availability. You can also stream his music on Apple Music and follow along on Facebook.

Built by Fenway Web

DanielStricklandMusic.com is the latest launch from Fenway Web, the marketing and web agency that designs and builds every Boston Made site and builds websites for outside clients. If you want a site that feels this alive for your own business, start with Fenway Web.
