At 1:13 a.m. an unsigned tip landed in the overnight queue. Five words: She’s not missing. She’s touring.

The night editor drafted the headline before the coffee finished: Sighting at the Newsroom: One Guitar Case, No Guitar. It was a good headline. The problem was the field under it.
